the Virtue of Bereans

The Virtue of Bereans is the heart of sharing blessings

Virtue is the heart not of monopolizing good things, but sharing with others. God called us by glory and virtue.
“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3).
God's character is practicing virtue so that we enjoy His Glory together. We who have been glorified through faith are supposed to be partakers of the divine nature to add virtue to your faith.
“But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love” (2 Peter 1:5~7).
Our Mission begins in the heart of sharing blessings of God.

Semuon’s Virtue

After understanding the Picture of God’s Will, Semuon did not have the idea of using it to make his ministry successful, but he had a mission to tell it to the humanity.
First, walking through all parts of South Korea, he testified God's living and the Picture of God’s Will through gospel and healing Service. After starting the ministry, in 1973 he began teaching the Bible to eleven graduate students of "Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary" at the Saturday bible study that was the foundation of Berea Academy.
As a pastor of Sungrak Church, he made other denominational students who were not members of Sungrak Church the target audience because he was filled with the virtue to enjoy the things given to him with Korean churches.
At that time, the 11 seminarians who learned the Bible from Semuon were able to carry out a very influential ministry based on their understanding of the Bible, which they learned from Semuon, and most of them became ministers of the big church, representing Korean churches. This fact shows us the value and influence of Berea.
However, there's a great shame here.  If those who learned the Bible at the time had honestly introduced what they learned to more people, today's Korean churches would have become quite bright about the Bible and the spiritual world. Sorry to say, most of them have concealed or denied that they had learned the Bible from the Semuon; nevertheless, they're able to do a good ministry based on what they had learned from Semuon; however, it is a shame that they didn't share what they received with more people.
Now that time has passed, it became hard to find their ability to reveal spiritual reality and their testimony about the Picture of God's Will even in their ministry. You have to know that if you do not try to do something good in yourself to others, you'll also lose it.
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you" (Luke 6:38).
